The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) and the International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS) are pleased to announce the call for papers for the IAOS 2026 Vilnius Conference: Navigating the Data Revolution: Innovations and Impact in Modern Statistics, to be held from 12–14 May 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania. We are living through a data revolution, with information generated at unprecedented scale and speed. This presents both opportunities and challenges, requiring new methods, fresh thinking, and bold innovation.
The Conference theme highlights the critical role of modern statistics in harnessing data to produce meaningful insights, drive innovation, and address complex societal challenges. By focusing on innovation — new tools, methods, and ideas — and impact — the ways statistics shape research, governance, industry, and daily life — the Conference provides a platform for statisticians, data scientists, and policymakers to explore the future of statistical development and its transformative potential.

Abstracts must be submitted online via the Conference submission system by the deadlines:
The Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) will review the abstracts and notify you of the outcome — whether accepted or not — by 9 January 2026 for IPS, and by 6 February 2026 for CPS and Posters at the latest.
Final materials (presentations for IPS and CPS) need to be submitted via Confence submission system by 20 April 2026. Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing the poster to the Conference.
The final IAOS 2026 Vilnius Conference programme will be published by 1 April 2026.
